An ice jam on the Des Moines River caused water to rise in the Breen, Riverdale and Scenic Drive additions north of Fort Dodge, creating flash flooding Friday evening. Residents living on 160th Street in the Breen Addition reported rising water around 4:30 p.m. Friday afternoon when the ice and water began nearing their homes. At 5:40 p.m.
